Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell guts exposed

The Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell netbook had already hit the FCC over a month ago, however at the time there was limited information. There were no test photos of any kind (internal or external) and not even a manual. A confidentiality agreement deprived us of all the juicy details.
Moving forward six weeks, the 1008HA Seashell has already been released in the UK and US shipments are expected next week. One would think there is little else to find out. However, the FCC site has now updated the 1008HA page to include all of the test pictures including its internals exposed.
Looking at the pictures, you can really appreciate how much care has gone into fitting everything into such a skinny chassis. Under the keyboard, you can see the aluminium plate which helps with heat dissipation. Once this is removed you can see the non-removable battery that takes up the front half of the chassis. To keep it thin, the battery is very wide, which is why it covers a wide area of the netbook. You can check out all of the images yourself here.
