I found the board here: http://www.mini-box.com/D510MO-mini-ITX-Intel and I think Nybis is right. And for an HTPC version you’ll need to help it with the Broadcom Crystal HD miniPCI board, you’ll have only VGA output, but it will be a silent, low cost mini pc

Let’s really see “more fanless netbook designs”. Come on. Let it be common. Throw in an SSD and I’m sold. To this user silence is more important than 3D or HD.

Jason youre right about the ion 2 and pineview cpu being incredibly tasty I am looking to build a new HTPC but I cant see a reason to build one of a N330 with ion when I can wait a little longer and get this much juicier combo — how much faster is the pineview than the N330?

Well, yeah, I agree that the GMA graphics are awful. But if you pair a Pineview processor with the upcoming nVidia Ion 2 GPU (that Acer recently ‘placed orders for’ ; i put that in quotes because neither nVidia or Acer will confirm or deny this) then you really got something there that has a much better performance and usability…. only time will tell….

Pineview is a joke. GMA graphics on next generation Netbooks? Common! Users don’t care about footprint, they want usability and that means HD video, browsing, and 3D apps. GMA graphics sucks at any price point.
