Well i believe they should just drop there prices in half after all they would or could make triple there profits by luring in there customers but keep them at that price after all its a new generation there screwing with most likely linux or ubunto could take over if they spice it up, and also mac is a better choice so far Safari for the win=)

Thankyou Microsoft for increasing the price.
Netboot manufactures can sell Linux Netbooks for a large price drop.
The more consumers go for the cheaper option $0 OS.
The quicker MS will drop Win XP 7 to current XP pricing for Netbooks.
If users reject linux OS on cheap netbooks.
Users will suffer with higher prices

Ballmer is going to destroy Microsoft. They couldn’t have found a person to wither it faster if he had been hand picked by Apple. His idea of “the bottom line” means everyone gets the very bottom, while he takes it all off of the top.

So they just confirmed they will sell Windows 7, crippled edition for more money than XP. Gee, what a difficult choice for manufacturers.
