Toshiba has announced a new 11.6-inch CULV-based ultra-thin notebook under the T100 model series. The Satellite T110 (or T115 as it will be known in the US) is the company’s first CULV-powered model and the company is boasting a battery life of up to 11 hours. The LED backlit display has a high resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
The Satellite T110 will live up to its ‘ultra-thin’ moniker, measuring just 22.2mm at its thinnest point and weighing 1.58kg. It will be available in either a Pentium or Celeron single core ultra low voltage processor. The T110 will support up to 4GB RAM (DDR3) and up to 500GB of storage space.
The T110 also comes with a multi-gesture touchpad including features such as pinch, zoom and swipe. Other features include webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi (Draft-N), three USB ports and a HDMI port. The T110 will come in a number of colours including Precious Black, Iron Red Metallic and Luxe White Pearl. It will be available from £429 in late October, which means it is likely to ship with Windows 7.
