Acer 1410 gets ‘Magnetic Power Adaptor’ mod

Acer 1410 gets Magnetic Power Adaptor mod Those of you with Apple laptops will be familiar with the magnetic power adaptors (MagSafe) the company uses. The idea is that the power connector is held magnetically so that if it is tugged accidentally it comes out of the socket safely without damaging the device. Even under normal use, as the power connector is attached to the motherboard, constant strain can make the connection become loose.

One intrepid modder looked to create something similar for his Acer Aspire 1410 ultrathin. He claims that it is easy to build with common materials and holds together without detaching unless it’s meant to. It all looks a bit complicated to me, but he says it is completely reversible. You can check out the guide here.

Android is a type of operating seystm developed by Google for mobile phones. Similar to windows operating seystm, linux operating seystm that we have for our computers.Android is an open-source operating seystm which means that any manufacturer can use it in their phones free of charge.

OK, now that I can finally view it…I have to say that I’m less bothered by the unintelligible singing (hell, I couldn’t understand much of Kurt Cobain either until I got the Nirvana Unplugged CD) than some around here. But could they maybe, I don’t know, hire a REAL choreographer? Or did they use Paula Abdul on one of her bender days to plan out that mess?

Hi Nick and Rob,congratulations, another nice product. To me the textures look from ok to good, the preview didn´t exactly blew my away. But I bought it anyway. It´s a fair price and you can learn a lot about texturing with this kit, and thats what I want. One Question, could you or/and Rob do someday a tutorial on those “special materials”(like nukei ect.) inside C4D. I never could figure out to handle them…
