Apple iPadFor those that can’t get enough of the iPad, you’ll be glad to know that Apple has now opened pre-orders over at the Apple store. Prices start from $499 all the way up to $829 for the 3G equipped model with 64GB SSD. The iPad will start shipping from April 3. Still no prices and timing on for international customers, but hopefully Apple will reveal all soon.

My friend is buying one and will be bringing it over to my place the day he gets it so I can do some hands on videos, but in the end I just don’t know how comfortable it could be.

Is it just me or would anyone else have simply preferred to see a 10 inch netbook from them instead?

Face Off: iPad v/s Netbook http://blog.laptopmag.com/ipad-vs-netbook . You can decide for yourself. Its pretty much certain that you’ll need your netbook more often (many more times .. actually) than the iPad. They both are just different. Read how from the link.
