Whether you like it or not, more and more manufacturers are launching 12-inch netbooks. The latest is HiPhone, which has launched the iLaptop-2009, a 12.1-inch device with 1280 x 800 resolution. While the feature-set is pretty non-descript, its form-factor sets it apart. It measures just 22mm in thickness and weighs 1.4kg with a 3-cell battery.
It is powered by a 1.6GHz N270 Atom CPU, 1GB RAM and a 160GB HDD. For its $450 asking price you’ll also get Wi-Fi (b/g), a card reader, webcam and an Ethernet port. Click here for the official product page and some quite poor product pictures.

Nice. Can’t see any of the ports of course to see what they’re doing with them to get the thickness down. The Ethernet port would be esp. interesting. If you see better pics of this somewhere, please post them.
