Acer’s 11.6-inch Aspire Timeline 1810T gets official

July 25, 2009 at 9:50 am

Acer Aspire Timeline 1810TRumours have circled for a few months that Acer was planning to release an 11.6-inch CULV-based ultra-thin to sit alongside or replace the Aspire One 751 netbook. Earlier this month, macles gave us the first details of this device (the Aspire Timeline 1810T) and now we can report that this ultra-thin has its own official Acer product page.

The product page reaffirms the previous report in terms of specifications. The Aspire Timeline 1810T will come with an 11.6-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It will be powered by an ULV (ultra-low voltage) processor (1.4GHz Intel ULV SU3500), Intel GS45 chipset with GMA 4500MHD graphics. It will support up to 4GB RAM and come with various storage options.

The Aspire Timeline 1810T ultra-thin measures 1.18-inches at its thickest point and will weigh 1.35kg. It will come with a 6-cell 5600mAh Li-ion battery that the company claims should last for 8 hours. As you would expect of a device this size, it comes with a full-sized ‘FineTip’ keyboard and a multi-gesture touchpad.

Other features include Wi-Fi (Draft-N), Bluetooth 2.1, HDMIT-out, three USB ports, webcam, 5-in-1 card reader and optional 3G. The 1810T also includes Acer’s ‘ComfyTouch’ technology which uses a Laminar Wall Jet Engine design to keep the internals cool. Pricing and availability is still absent, but when it does hit retail you’ll be able to choose between three colours (Ruby Red, Diamond Black and Sapphire Blue). Check out the full specifications below.

I took free acer mini laptop from three with mobile broadband offer and then just in few days i had to changed it and i went to get mini 700 compaq. Its the best laptop out there in the market. Very luxury style and elegant. Except one thing that builtin webcam is not great. Here is the link of 3 mobile broadband. http://3mobileshop.at/domestic?CTY=1&CID=12625
