Point of View Mobii ULV SlimlinePoint of View has launched its first entry into the 11.6-inch CULV ultra-thin segment with the Mobii ULV Slimline. This device is powered by a 1.2GHz SU2300 processor, GMA 4500MHD graphics, up to 2GB RAM and a 160GB HDD. It has a high-resolution (1366 x 68) matte display and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Other features include Wi-Fi (b/g/n), 1,3MP webcam, card reader, HDMI and three USB ports. It only comes with a 4-cell 4600 mAh battery, which we imagine won’t last very long under normal usage. The whole thing weighs 1.4kg and measures just 26.8mm in thickness. The Mobii ULV will be available from retailers in Europe in the next few days with a €479 price point. Check out the technical specs after the break.

POV has an Ion in its 10.1″ netbook but puts substandard 4500 graphics in its 11.6″ ULV? Not a great first attempt and not on my christmas list.

ion and a horribly slow single core atom… this has a dual core celeron, which will run 2-3 times faster cpu-wise. looks like another rebranded 1410.

who gives a crap about graphics? At least the computer runs. The ULV dual cores are kick-ass and actually work. Atom is crap and is meant to be in a cell phone. I wish these ULV MOBII’S were available in the USA. The dual core ULV battery life lasts forever. Try to get any kind of battery life on an ION. OH YEAH, DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON BATTERY LIFE ON THE ION. BLAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
