Acronis intros netbook-specific backup and recovery software

Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook EditionAcronis already offers some of the best backup/recovery software on the market today. The company has decided to expand their reach to the netbook markets by announcing ‘Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition’. This version sells for a lower price of £23.95, compared to the desktop versions and the company claims that it is optimised for netbooks’ screen size and unique hardware configuration.

Users can backup data locally, to an attached device or even online using the optional Acronis online service. The Netbook Edition supports all major Windows operating systems and requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024×600. It also supports the main processors used in netbooks, including Intel’s Atom 230, 330, N270, N280, Z500, Z510, Z520, Z530, and Z540 chips or the VIA C7-M chip.
