The Alienware M11x is probably the most powerful 11.6-inch device on the market. Whilst we saw the first review pop up last week, we hadn’t seen any close ups of the M11x. Johannes from NewGadgets.de managed to get some hands-on time with the gaming beast and shot a quick video tour that shows the ports, switchable graphics (not Optimus) and backlit keyboard. It’s well worth the watch if you’re considering the M11x as a future purchase. Check it out after the break.

When you say not switchable graphics…are you referring to hybrid graphics then?

I was just saying that it wasn’t using the recently announced Nvidia Optimus tech. The switchable graphics in the M11x need to be done manually, something not needed with Optimus. Hope that makes sense!

Any idea when Nvidia’s Optimus technology will be released into netbooks?
