Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T hands-on picturesAs the Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T gets closer to launch, a couple of sites have managed to get hands-on with the CULV-based 11.6-inch device. The Timeline 1810T has a high resolution (1366 x 768) LED backlit display and will be powered by an ULV (ultra-low voltage) processor (1.4GHz Intel ULV SU3500), Intel GS45 chipset with GMA 4500MHD graphics.

Interestingly, the model logo appears to be ‘AS 1810T’. We’re not sure what the ‘AS’ part stands for (ASpire maybe?) Both hands-on below have the same model number, so maybe this is how it will be marketed.

Ukrainian site,, got hold of a Sapphire Blue version. ITC felt that on the outside the 1801T looked nearly identical to the Aspire One 751. The glossy cover looks susceptible to fingerprints, although not as much as the black version. They liked the large keyboard but weren’t too fond of the touchpad. They measured the thickness, which varied between 22mm to 30mm across the chassis.

Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T hands-on pictures also went hands-on. They got a Ruby Red version with 2GB RAM and a 320 GB hard drive (model number 1810T-352G25Mn). It also came with a 6-cell (63Wh) battery that should last around 8 hours according to the company. They also found the 12-inch keyboard comfortable to use.

Interestingly, Acer Germany also posted a model called “Aspire 1410″ (without “Timeline”), which seems to be just the same device but with Celeron CLV 723 CPU.

    Here’s the link.

I think that must be a mis-print. As far as I know, the Aspire 1410 was a 15.4-inch laptop that the company released a while back.

But if you look at the specs and the picture, you’ll see the same device. While in the support section the 1810T is also available.

Beware the Celeron 723 if you want uber-long battery life. It has a TDP of 10W, almost twice the TDP of the SU3500. The Celerons also lack the SpeedStep feature of the CULV line.

Does anyone know what happened to Dimepiece LA celebrity streetwear brand? I cannot proceed to the checkout on Dimepiecela site. I’ve read in Teen Vogue that the brand was bought out by a UK hedge fund in excess of $50 m. I’ve just bought the Dimepiece International Playa Duffel from Ebay and absolutely love it xox
