Spec doesn’t seem to say anything about CD/DVD reader/writer. I guess it reads DVDs because the backup software comes on a DVD, but does it write CDs or DVDs?

Bought mine yesterday and it lasted well over 5 hours.

As for the CD/DVD reader, netbooks don’t have any fitted.

You need to buy an external USB one.

there’s 1Gb of ram in the E1222, is the memory user-accessible? Could it be upgraded?

Do you know if you can recharge the battery without the battery being connected to the notebook?

Sure, i can make it dual core speed, no probs at all. Send it with £100 in cash to me and I will return it within a week all pimped to double speed. How do you want to measure speed so we can make sure I meet your needs? Stop watch for boot up and connect to Internet? Leave a comment to get my full address.
