The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is set to be one of the most desirable 11.6-inch ultrathins released in a while. It comes with the Intel Core i5-520UM dual-core processor that has a 1.06GHz clock speed. The processor benefits from Turbo Boost technology, which means the clock speed can increase to 1.86GHz depending on usage.
Blogeee managed to get hands-on with the 1830T and judging by the pictures, it certainly looks the business. Apart from its slender frame, it comes with a textured lid than means fingerprint marks are a thing of the past. It also has a brushed metal palm rest and chiclet keyboard.
The 6-cell battery appears to be flush with the case and is quoted to provide around 8 hours of battery life. Other features include HDMI, three USB ports, and a large access panel at the bottom providing easy access to the HDD and RAM. Click here for some more pictures.
