Toshiba NB200 netbook to come in pink and blue colours
July 20, 2009 at 9:36 am
The Toshiba NB200 netbook has garnered some very positive reviews since its recent launch. However, one factor that has divided critics was the stripy brown coloured lid that adorns the more expensive SKUs (along with a “snow white” model). You do of course get a black NB200, but that only comes with the lower-specced model.
Personally, I think the brown model looks quite nice, but regardless, Toshiba will be introducing new “silky pink” and “blue” colours in the UK. Like the brown and white models, the colours only extend to the lid and screen bezel, with the same well-regarded chiclet keyboard used as the more expensive versions. According to T3 these models will come with a 1.6GHz N270 Atom CPU, 1GB Ram and a 160GB HDD. They should hit UK retail within the next few weeks for £310. Check out some more pictures after the break.

Hi i’m wondering whats the difference between nb205 and nb200?
July 28th, 2009 8:54 AM
They are the same. Toshiba is marketing the model as NB200 in Europe and NB205 in the US. It is confusing, as you would assume the NB205 had better specs when it doesn’t.
Remember, there are different versions of each model that have different processors, battery lives and keyboards.

I’m confused Research showed toshiba nb 205 as best buy for a student with its long battery time but i can’t find anyone who sells it in uk
I imagine she’d like one of the coloured one’s. Have I been looking for wrong thing – should i be asking for nb200

If you want the fully specced model, you should look for the NB200-10Z or NB200-110 in the UK. Amazon
has the latter for £312.80 delivered!
