Samsung is also looking to join the Intel Pine Trail party by launching the NP-N150 netbook. The Samsung N150 has been spotted passing through the FCC, there are no pictures at the moment although we do know the full specifications courtesy of a retailer listing.
The N150 sports a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) display and will be powered by the 1.66GHz N450 Atom Pineview processor and Intel GMA 3150 graphics. It will come with 1GB RAM, a 5400RPM 160GB HDD and Windows 7 Starter.
The N150 features a 6-cell 4400mAh battery that should be good for 7 hours of battery life. Other features include Wi-Fi (b/g/n), a 0.3MP webcam, 3-in-1 card reader and three USB ports. There is no Bluetooth in this model. The whole thing weighs 1.24kg and is 1.05-inches in thickness.
The Samsung N150 will come in three colours: black (NP-N150-JA01US), blue (NP-N150-JA03US) and red (NP-N150-JA04US. A release date is unknown right now, but I’d guess that we’ll see the N150 launch in early January with the other Pineview netbooks.

So what happens if you have the first version of the N150…Get a rebate or trade in?
Feels a bit unfair considering the current N150 has only been out about 3 months

I prefer the older model as it has stronger keys. These look and feel as though they would fall off eventually. Also the older model longer battery life seems better.
